Delegation of the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam visited China

During his stay in China, the Permanent Deputy Prosecutor General had a courtesy visit to Mr. Ying Yong, the Prosecutor General of the the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China, and held a discussion with Mr. Tong Jianming,  Permanent Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China about Chinese Laws and Policy on Public Interest Litigation; visited and worked with the National Procuratorate Academy of China, the East China Law and Justice University, the People's Procuratorate of Beijing and Shanghai cities and conducted field surveys at a number of district-level People's Procuratorates in China; visited Viet Nam Embassy in China.

At the meeting with the Prosecutor General of the the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China, the two sides reviewed the outstanding cooperation events between the two countries’ Prosecution offices, especially during the period when the two countries were heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Prosecutor General of the the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China, Mr. Ying Yong expressed his pleasure to welcome the Vietnamese delegation on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries; he also thanked the Leaders of the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam for actively supporting the proposal of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China on a number of cooperation activities in the coming time. He affirmed their willingness to coordinate with the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam to effectively implement signed bilateral cooperation documents and multilateral cooperation mechanisms participate by both parties. On this occasion, the Prosecutor General of the the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China presented the Vietnamese delegation with 200 copies of the Handbook: “20 years of friendship cooperation between People’s Procuracy of Viet Nam and People's Procuratorate of China” jointly published by the of the two parties.

The visited and worked in China by the Delegation of the Supreme People's Procuracy  of Viet Nam led by Permanent Deputy Prosecutor General Nguyen Huy Tien was successful and achieved the set objectives. The success of the visit contributed to consolidating and promoting the traditional friendly cooperation relationship between the Prosecution offices of the two countries in a more effective and substantive direction. the Delegation received a very respectful and thoughtful welcome from the leaders and officers of the People's Procuratorate of China at all levels. The results of the visit contributed positively to the consolidation of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Viet Nam and China.
