On June 9, 2020, Mr. Le Minh Tri, Member of the Party Central Committee, Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam had a meeting with Mr. Park Noh Wan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Korea to Viet Nam and Mr. Yamada Takio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Viet Nam.

He affirmed that the strategic partnership between Viet Nam and Korea and Viet Nam and Japan has been developing well in all fields; The exchange of high-level missions is maintained regularly, achieving positive results.
Sharing about the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic that had affected all aspects of the economic, political - social life of countries around the world including Viet Nam, the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy said The Party and the State of Viet Nam have devised many guiding measures to well implement the prevention and control of disease transmission in the community. The Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam has also been actively coordinating with law enforcement agencies, to propose timely measures to strictly handle the crimes related to the Covid-19 epidemic.

Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy, Mr. Le Minh Tri hopes that in his position, Mr. Park Noh Wan and Mr. Yamada Takio will be a bridge to maintain and promote the relationship between Viet Nam and Korea and Japan to the next level. On the Korean side, the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy hoped that during Mr. Park Noh Wan's term of office, he would support the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam in coordination with the law enforcement agencies of Korea, especially to effectively implement the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam and the Supreme Prosecutors' Office of Korea.

To the Embassy of Japan, the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy said that in the coming time, Viet Nam will continue to promote administrative reform, fight against crime to ensure economic - social stability, and encourage foreign investment in Viet Nam. Therefore, he hopes that Mr. Yamada Takio will continue to support Viet Nam to develop a new JICA project program after 2020; and help promote the negotiation, signing, and ratification of the Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Agreement between the two countries, to create a legal basis for cooperation in the fight against crime and protect citizens of two countries.
