At the Dialogue, Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien, Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam, expressed his pleasure to welcome Mr. Hélder Fernando Pitta Gróz, Attorney General of the Republic of Angola, and the Angola Delegation to visit and work with the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam on the occasion of their attendance at the Opening Ceremony for the signing of the United Nations Convention on Countering Cybercrime. The signing ceremony created an important basis for countries to strengthen judicial cooperation, enhance law enforcement capacity, and share information on electronic evidence.

The Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam emphasized that over the past 50 years, thanks to the efforts of many generations of leaders and people of both countries, the relationship between Viet Nam and Angola has established a solid foundation, which includes a trustworthy political relationship, mutual support between the two States, and solidarity, attachment, and mutual understanding between the expatriate community and the people of the two countries. This creates momentum for both sides to continue consolidating, expanding, and bringing the cooperative relationship between the two countries into a new phase of development.

Regarding the cooperation orientation for the coming time, Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien proposed that the Attorney General's Office of Angola coordinate in developing a 2-to-3-year cooperation Program with specific implementation activities suitable for the functions and duties of the prosecution sector of the two countries, focusing on improving the capacity of prosecutors in: combating high-tech crime, collecting and preserving electronic evidence, asset recovery, etc.

In addition, the two agencies should strengthen the exchange of delegations at all levels, organize short-term professional training courses for Prosecutors, promote technical cooperation and the digitalization of judicial activities, including sharing experience in building electronic databases. He also believed that this visit would open up a new, more substantive, and effective phase of cooperation between the two agencies in the coming time.
