The Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia

The signed Memorandum of Cooperation will provide a legal framework for the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam and the Attorney General's Office of Indonesia to promote and strengthen bilateral cooperation in crime prevention and combat, especially against emerging crimes in the technology era such as cybercrime and financial crime. The two Sides will also enhance direct cooperation in the exchange of information, professional procuracy experience, prosecutor training, and the promotion of mutual legal assistance in criminal matters to resolve criminal cases with foreign elements involving the two countries.

This event is even more significant as it takes place in 2025, which marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Indonesia (December 30, 1955 – December 30, 2025). It is particularly meaningful as Viet Nam and Indonesia officially upgraded their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership during the official visit of General Secretary To Lam to the Republic of Indonesia (March 2025).
