On March 5th, 2026, H.E. Nguyen Huy Tien, Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Procuracy (SPP) of Viet Nam, received H.E. Davaabazar Ganzorig, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia and a high-level delegation from the Supreme Court of Mongolia on their visit to the SPP of Viet Nam.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien expressed his pleasure in welcoming Mr. Ganzorig and the Mongolian delegation. He affirmed that Viet Nam and Mongolia have maintained a fine traditional friendship for over 70 years.
Reviewing positive results in bilateral cooperation, the Prosecutor General noted that cooperation in law and justice has been increasingly strengthened and substantive. Leaders of judicial agencies from both countries frequently conduct visits and exchanges to unify future cooperation orientations.
Under the 2026-2027 Cooperation Program between the Supreme Procuracy of Viet Nam and the Office of the Prosecutor General of Mongolia signed in Mongolia, a 10-member delegation from the Mongolian Prosecutor's Office will visit Viet Nam from March 30th to April 4th, 2026. They will attend a workshop to share experiences on the organizational system of the Mongolian Prosecutor's Office and digital transformation results in cases management and administration. This contributes to consolidating friendship, mutual understanding, and promoting professional cooperation of the two sides.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien expressed his hope that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia would continue to support the friendly cooperation between the judicial authorities of the two countries, contributing to the successful implementation of the Joint Statement on the "Viet Nam - Mongolia Comprehensive Partnership".
Mr. Ganzorig thanked the leaders of the SPP of Viet Nam for their warm welcome. Agreeing with the assessments and cooperation directions mentioned by the Prosecutor General of Viet Nam, he expressed confidence that the friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and their judicial agencies in particular, would continuously be strengthened and developed.
