The Annual Conference of Financial Street Forum 2025 was co-hosted by the Beijing Municipal People's Government in cooperation with the People's Bank of China, the National Financial Regulatory Administration, the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and Xinhua News Agency. This is a specialized cooperation and exchange mechanism in the financial sector, an interactive forum between finance and the real economy, and also a platform for announcing China's national-level financial policies. At the invitation of the Conference Organizing Committee, Mr. Nguyen Duy Giang, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy, shared Viet Nam's experience on "Combating Financial Crime and International Cooperation in the Digital-Intelligent Era."

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Duy Giang highly appreciated the theme of this Conference on "Financial Risk Prevention and Collaborative Governance in the Digital-Intelligent Era"; affirming that this is a matter of profound topical significance, reflecting the urgent requirements of law enforcement work in the context of increasingly sophisticated, anonymous, and transnational financial crimes. He stated: In recent times, Viet Nam has made many efforts in perfecting the legal framework for financial risk prevention, anti-money laundering, cybercrime, promoting financial transparency, and enhancing law enforcement capacity; fighting and handling many major cases related to fraud, money laundering, and online gambling. Viet Nam also actively participates in multilateral cooperation forums on justice and law, and promotes the signing of agreements on criminal judicial assistance. In particular, Viet Nam successfully organized the Opening Ceremony for the signing of the United Nations Convention on Countering Cybercrime in Ha Noi on October 25th – 26th, 2025. The Deputy Prosecutor General of Viet Nam also proposed that countries should strengthen international cooperation, apply science and technology, and comply with global legal standards to control financial risks, prevent cybercrime, aiming for a safe, transparent, and sustainable financial environment.
After the Conference, the Delegation will visit and work with the Beijing Municipal People's Procuratorate and some grassroots-level People's Procuratorate Offices of China.
