The visit and working trip to Mongolia by the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam, Mr. Nguyễn Huy Tiến, was a great success.
At the invitation of Mr. Banzragch Jargalsaikhan, Prosecutor General of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of Mongolia, a high-level delegation from the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam, led by the Prosecutor General of Viet Nam, H.E. Nguyễn Huy Tiến, paid a working visit to Mongolia from July 29 to August 1, 2025.
During the visit, Mr. Nguyễn Huy Tiến and the delegation paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Zandanshatar Gombojav, Prime Minister of Mongolia; held talks with Mr. Banzragch Jargalsaikhan, Prosecutor General of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of Mongolia; met with Mr. Ganzorig Damdin, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia; and visited and worked with the Kharkhorin Inter-Commune Prosecutor's Office.
Speaking at the talks with the Prosecutor General of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of Mongolia, Mr. Nguyễn Huy Tiến sincerely thanked the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of Mongolia for its solemn, thoughtful, and traditionally friendly reception. He emphasized the importance of the visit, which aims to effectively implement the Joint Statement on establishing a "Comprehensive Partnership between Viet Nam and Mongolia" announced in September 2024 during the visit to Mongolia by General Secretary and President Tô Lâm. He also shared outstanding achievements in Viet Nam's recent judicial reform and introduced some important adjustments to the organizational structure, functions, and duties of the Viet Namese People's Procuracy system. Mr. Nguyễn Huy Tiến also proposed that the Mongolian side strengthen cooperation with the Viet Namese side and share experiences in combating transnational crime, anti-corruption and asset recovery, public interest litigation, and digital transformation within the procuracy sector.
Mr. Banzragch Jargalsaikhan, Prosecutor General of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of Mongolia, expressed his pleasure in welcoming the Viet Namese delegation. He highly praised Viet Nam's achievements in judicial reform and agreed to closely coordinate with Viet Nam to promote growing cooperative relations in the spirit of the Joint Statement between the two countries. Specifically, both sides will work together to effectively implement the previously signed cooperation agreement by carrying out short-term cooperation programs focused on the areas proposed by Prosecutor General Nguyễn Huy Tiến.
Following the talks, the Prosecutor Generals of the two countries signed a 2-year Cooperation Program for the 2026-2027 period. Prosecutor General Nguyễn Huy Tiến wrote in the guestbook of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of Mongolia.

On the same day, Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam Nguyễn Huy Tiến paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Zandanshatar Gombojav, the Prime Minister of Mongolia.
During the meeting, Prosecutor General Nguyễn Huy Tiến expressed his pleasure at the positive development of both Mongolia and the Viet Nam - Mongolia relationship. He provided an overview of the cooperation between the Supreme Prosecutor's Offices of the two countries and requested that the Mongolian side continue to create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community living and working in Mongolia. He also expressed his belief that the Vietnamese community in Mongolia will be an important factor in strengthening the friendly and economic-commercial cooperation between the two nations.
Prime Minister Zandanshatar Gombojav welcomed Prosecutor General Nguyễn Huy Tiến and the delegation to Mongolia. He highly praised the results of the cooperation between the two Procuracies and affirmed that the Mongolian government will support all efforts to promote the comprehensive cooperative relationship between the two countries, based on the Joint Statement on establishing a "Comprehensive Partnership between Vietnam and Mongolia" in 2024, especially in the legal and judicial fields.

Within the framework of the working visit, the delegation also met with Mr. Ganzorig Damdin, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged information on the judicial reforms being implemented in both Vietnam and Mongolia. They expressed their readiness to cooperate and share experiences in various legal fields, as well as in professional training for judges and prosecutors. They also emphasized their desire to coordinate efforts in combating drug and substance-related crimes, fighting corruption, and addressing other global issues.
